From the moment they arrive to the time they head home, each day is thoughtfully planned to give your dog the perfect balance of play, rest, socialising, and enrichment. Signing up for day care means more than just supervision—it’s a full experience tailored to your dog’s needs. With expert care, structured routines and groups, and plenty of tail-wagging fun, you’ll see the benefits in their wellbeing, and happiness.
9:30 AM – 11:30 AM | Morning Play Session
After morning pick-ups, we head straight to the outside paddock so everyone can say hello, stretch their legs and do their business before coming inside. Once all dogs have arrived, it’s time for small group play—chase, tug, or gentle sniffing with their chosen buddies, all carefully supervised for safe, happy socialising. Pups who like a calmer pace can enjoy enrichment toys, cuddles or a quieter space, and for dogs who need help settling, our scent room provides soothing mental enrichment to balance their physical play.
11:30 AM – 1 PM | Wind-Down & Naps
The morning dogs go home so it gives our smaller group of lunch time dogs a chance to catch their breath. We take away all toys during this period and provide plenty of cosy areas for rest and naps!
1:00 PM – 2:45 PM | Afternoon Play & Enrichment
Time to stretch those paws again when the afternoon dogs arrive! Afternoon play includes more group fun, opening up the zones if some of the afternoon dogs are more playful, puzzle toys, and light training games. We often carry out scent work and games during this fun period. There’s also plenty of time for rest in our cosy quiet zones—essential for healthy development and wellbeing.

Wind-Down & Home time
As the daycare day comes to an end, we help them settle with some chill-out time, light activity, and of course some more cuddles. We then load into our doggy vans ready for a tired, happy dog to be dropped home to you!

Inside & Outside Areas
The Great British weather can hardly be relied on! This is why we have both inside and outside areas. Our inside is custom-designed, comprising of 3 zones, including a scent room and access to an outside area.
Reliable transportation service
Included in our prices is our transportation service in our fleet of insured doggy vans! These are crated and safe, and often lined with cosy beds for increased comfort, and we always let you know when your dog has been picked up and dropped home!
Communication
We share regular photos and videos, in your personalised 'pupdate' Whatsapp group so you can see firsthand how much they are enjoying their time with us! We pride ourselves in transparent communication and always keep you in the loop with all things daycare!
Caring, trustworthy team
We’re a tight-knit team of three, together for over six years, building close bonds with every dog (and owner!) so we know their quirks—from favourite sofa to team ball or team zoomies—and our dedicated attention and regular ‘pupdates’ mean nothing slips through the cracks.
Ouchies
All of our Scent-a-Barks team are canine first aid trained, in the unlikely event of an accident we have a qualified team onboard and we are just down the road from a veterinary practice. We always let you know if we have any concerns and carry our top to tail health checks on our dogs.
Security is our priority
Our play areas are completely secure and double-gated, and our fencing is 1.6 meters high, so no chance for those escapees to get up to mischief!

Our thorough assessment process ensures that only well-socialised dogs join our packs. This foundation of safety is reinforced by our model of having the same dogs attend the same weekly sessions, allowing your pup to form loving, trusting bonds and genuine friendships with both their packmates and our staff.
All the activities
Our custom designed centre offers mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. Our activities include free play, brainteaser games, relaxing bubble time and light training training. Plus a focus on mental games such as scent games and the scent room!

Ever been in a sofa showroom for dogs? Our centre is well equipped with sofas, chairs, beanbags, blankets and cosy spots for your dog to find a little nook and take 5.
Themed weeks & birthday parties
From Christmas to birthdays, we turn every occasion into a doggy party with themed play, treats, photoshoots, party bags and even a present and pupcake for the guest of honour.
