Hi I’m Stacy, founder of Scent-a-Barks Norwich, and Mum of Toby the Poogle!
My doggy obsession started from when I was a young girl; we always had dogs in the family and I loved nothing more than looking after them. I went to university, graduated with a Business Management degree, and started working my way up in a corporate IT career, but realised something was missing… In 2016 I decided to pursue my dreams of setting up a doggy daycare business in Norwich, and I haven’t looked back since!
I work with a superb, qualified team who manage the daily daycare operations which frees my time up to run the business as a whole. I work in centre most days and enjoy lunch-time dog walks, so I’m very hands on!
I love being outdoors all day and spending my day with so many different characters. No day is the same and although it’s hard work I start and finish every day loving my job! My job keeps me pretty busy but when I’m not working I still love to be outdoors exploring with Toby!

I am proud to say that I truly love my job and as an animal lover from a young age, I am so excited to have found Scent a Barks! I have almost as much fun walking and helping to run Daycare as our beautiful SB pack of doggies do in our care!
My life has become focussed around animals after graduating with a BSc in Animal Science and Welfare, leading me to my current studies: a MSc Advanced Wildlife Conservation in Practice. I balance this by studying this part time at UWE Bristol, and love my dream role back home, managing the wonderful doggies at the centre! I’ve been with Scent-a-Barks since the start and can fully say my heart is invested in the care we provide, the loving relationships we create with your pups and with yourselves as owners!
My days are pretty packed with everything ‘animal’ so when I’m not studying or caring for our four legged friends, I’m often outside exploring the wonderful Norwich parks and forests, keeping an eye out for the perfect walkies spot!

Daycare Assistant
I have been working with dogs for a number of years as a dog walker and home boarder. I moved to work in daycare for a new experience and to be part of a team that shares the same great love for dogs that I have! It’s a lovely caring place to work and since being at the centre I have even greater knowledge and experience. I am very privileged to look after so many lovely dogs.
I generally work in the centre over lunch times during staff and doggy half-day changeovers! I love to see the tired, happy dogs leave, and the excitable afternoon dogs join!

Daycare Assistant / Management team
Hello, I’m Megan and I’ve always loved animals, I’m so happy I’ve found a group of girls who feel the same! I didn’t have much experience working with dogs but I’ve grown up with them and have one of my own!
I have completed pet first aid & cpr training, plus canine behaviour, which gives me confidence knowing I can fully care for your dogs! I like to make sure all the dogs are forming relationships so they have as much fun as possible and are tired for when they go home!
